Every year I make about a dozen different kinds of Christmas cookies. I buy the ingredients from a higher end grocery store like Dominick's. I usually spend about $150.00 on ingredients. Think about that...$150.00 or more on flour, sugar, butter and eggs....This year I went to Aldi and bought the same ingredients for under $60.00! Now that is a savings! The purpose of this post is to let you know Aldi is the place to go. Even if you don't want to do your every day shopping here, I would at least reccommend you buying some Christmas baking supplies here. Chocolate chips, vanialla, shortening, pecans, spices...I could go on, but you get the point.
Staring in December I will start sharing my Christmas cookie recipes with you. For now here is the list that I have come up with....maybe this list will inspire you to create your own Christmas cookie list!!!
